HOW TO REMOVE YOUR FBA INVENTORY FROM AMAZON FOR RELABELING

If you need to relabel your Amazon FBA inventory, for example, to update barcodes or correct labeling errors, you can remove your stock from Amazon, send it to Gearment for relabeling, and then ship it back to Amazon.


Gearment supports relabeling for:

  • Products originally fulfilled at Gearment
  • New products fulfilled elsewhere and restocked through our service


This guide walks you through the full process.


When Relabeling Is Needed


You may need to relabel your FBA inventory in cases such as:

  • Units are labeled with incorrect barcodes
  • Products are misprinted or defective
  • Your Amazon selling account is deactivated
  • A listing becomes inactive
  • Inventory has been stored at Amazon for an extended time
  • You need to restock your inventory with products from the US,


Gearment can receive your inventory, relabel every unit, and prepare it for shipment back to Amazon.


STEP 1: Create a Removal Order From Amazon to Gearment


  1. Log in to Amazon Seller Central.
  2. Go to Manage FBA Inventory.
  3. Select the items you want removed → click Create Removal Order.
  4. Choose Ship to a different address.
  5. Enter the Gearment warehouse address: Texas Warehouse: 12501 Cardinal Meadow Dr, Sugar Land, TX 77478, United States
  6. Submit the removal request. Amazon will ship your units to the selected Gearment warehouse.
  7. Once your inventory arrives, you can proceed to Step 2.


STEP 2: Create a New FBA Shipment and Submit a New Order in Gearment


After the returned units reach Gearment:

  1. Create a new FBA shipment in Amazon Seller Central.
  2. Create a new FBA order in the Gearment app following this guide: FBA Order


**Note: You must upload new barcodes and new shipping labels** for this shipment.


STEP 3: Gearment Relabels and Ships Your Units Back to Amazon


Gearment will:

  • Relabel each unit using the barcodes you provide
  • Print updated labels
  • Prepare the shipment
  • Release the shipment for Amazon pickup


Storage Policy: Storage fees will be applied according to our Warehousing Service policy.
