RFC - Tax Number Required For Orders Shipped To Mexico

TAX NUMBER REQUIRED FOR ORDERS SHIPPED TO MEXICO



Starting 01/01/2025, you need to provide an RFC number (Registro Federal de Contribuyentes) for orders to Mexico. The orders without RFC numbers may be held at customs or undelivered.

You only need to provide the tax number. The order value is not required.

When creating an order manually

Fill in the RFC number at Tax number field; order tax value is not required.


When you try to save an order without an RFC, a warning will be shown as below. Select Agree if you would like to proceed the orders without RFC numbers.


When importing an order via CSV file

Fill in the RFC number at Tax number column; order tax value is not required.


With no RFC number, you will see a warning as below when importing. Select Agree if you would like to proceed the orders without RFC numbers.


When synchronizing orders to Gearment app

There will be no warning but you can see a quick notification at the top of the Order page.


When creating an order via API

Add a tax number at Tax number field


Orders without RFC numbers will receive a notification as below:


Without an RFC number, you can still place an order for delivery to Mexico. However, the shipment may face delays or disruptions. Gearment will not provide refunds or replacements for orders affected in this way.
